Be first in line when camp registration opens
The good camps fill in minutes, and the opening date is usually announced quietly on a page you check once a month. Camp Alarm watches the camps, swim lessons and activities you pick, texts you the moment a registration date is announced and again when it opens, and keeps watching sold-out sessions for cancellations. You get a checklist of what each form asks for, so you're ready before the clock starts.
- Each camp page checked several times an hour; a text the moment registration dates appear, the day before, and the minute it opens.
- Waitlist watching: sold-out weeks re-checked and an alert when a spot or a new session appears.
- A per-camp checklist of what the form needs, like medical forms, account login and deposit, prepared before opening day.

Popular day camps, YMCA programs, city recreation camps and swim lessons now sell out within an hour of opening, some in minutes. Parents set alarms, block their calendars and still lose out because the opening date moved, the account wasn't set up or a medical form was missing.
Each camp announces dates its own way: a line on the website, a newsletter some parents never got, a social media post. Keeping track of five or six programs across two children means checking pages every week for months.
Camp Alarm does the checking. You list the camps, it watches them and tells you exactly when to act, and what to have ready.

Ready before the clock starts

Questions
Do you register my child for me?
No. Registration needs your account, payment and consent, so you do it. We make sure you know exactly when and have everything ready.
Which camps can you watch?
Any camp or activity with a public web page, including city recreation portals, YMCAs, private day camps and lesson programs. If a page needs a login to see dates, we watch the public pages and newsletter instead.
How quickly will I hear when it opens?
Pages are checked several times an hour, and at the announced opening time we alert you at that minute with the direct link.
Does it work for activities other than summer camp?
Yes: swim lessons, after-school clubs, sports leagues and holiday camps all work the same way. One season covers one registration cycle.
Will it renew automatically?
No. Each season is paid once. We email you before next year's cycle and you decide whether to sign up again.
Is this allowed by camp websites?
We only read public pages, at a gentle rate, the way a parent refreshing the page would. We never submit forms or hold places.
Does it work with Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Camp Alarm includes an MCP connector, so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible assistants can answer questions like "which camps on my list haven't announced dates yet?" from your data. It is read-only by default and you can revoke access at any time.
