French e-invoicing sorted in 48 hours, without losing your evenings
Since 1 September 2026, every VAT-registered business in France must be able to receive e-invoices through an approved platform (plateforme agréée), and small and micro businesses must issue them from 1 September 2027. Facture Prête compares the platforms for your situation, where a free plan is often enough, registers you, checks your SIREN in the central directory, updates your invoice template with the new mandatory fields and tests reception. One payment, no subscription with us.
- An approved platform chosen for your activity and volume, preferring free plans whenever they are enough.
- Your SIREN checked in the central directory and a test invoice received end to end, so you know it really works.
- Your invoice template updated with the new mandatory fields, ready for issuing in 2027.

Since 1 September 2026, a PDF sent by email is no longer enough for invoices between French businesses: they must travel through a platform approved by the tax administration, and your business must be reachable in the central directory to receive them. The receiving obligation covers every VAT-registered business, including micro-entrepreneurs under the VAT franchise. Issuing follows on 1 September 2027 for small and micro businesses.
There are now dozens of approved platforms, with capped free plans, offers tied to a bank or an accounting tool, and terms that keep changing. For a freelancer, comparing them, registering, checking that the SIREN points to the right platform and updating invoices easily takes a day, and often keeps getting postponed.
Facture Prête does that work for you in 48 hours. We are not an approved platform and take no commission: we choose the right platform with you, often free for receiving, handle the registration and settings, and check that everything works.

With Facture Prête
- An approved platform chosen for your activity and volume, preferring free plans whenever they are enough.
- Your SIREN checked in the central directory and a test invoice received end to end, so you know it really works.
- Your invoice template updated with the new mandatory fields, ready for issuing in 2027.

How it works
- 1
A 5-minute questionnaire
Your legal status, current invoicing or accounting software, bank, how many invoices you receive and issue per month, and whether you also sell to consumers or abroad.
- 2
We choose the platform
Within one business day, a written recommendation: the approved platform that fits, the exact plan, what it costs (often nothing for receiving) and why. You approve it.
- 3
Registration and settings
We guide the registration over screen share or do it with your consent, check your SIREN in the central directory, the receiving address and forwarding to your accountant.
- 4
Test and handover
A test invoice received end to end, your invoice template updated, and a one-page summary: your platform login, what changes in 2027 and what you no longer need to do.
Features
Comparison for your case
Approved platforms compared on your real situation: volumes, software you already use, bank, e-reporting needs. We prefer free plans when they are enough and say so when they are not.
Registration and directory check
Account opened on the chosen platform and your SIREN confirmed as attached to it in the central directory; otherwise your suppliers' invoices never reach you.
Tested reception
A test e-invoice sent to your business and received on the platform, then forwarded automatically to your accountant or accounting software if you want.
Compliant invoice template
Your template updated with the customer SIREN, the transaction category (goods, services or both), the VAT-on-debits option where relevant and the delivery address, in your software or on the platform.
Customer file completed
The SIREN numbers of your business customers found from their name or SIRET and added to your customer file, so your 2027 invoices are routed correctly (Ready for 2027 plan).
E-reporting explained
If you sell to consumers or abroad, we explain what the platform will report to the administration from 2027 and check your plan includes it.
Written summary
One clear page: platform, login, receiving address, what your accountant does, and the three dates to remember. Keep it for any question or audit.
A look inside
What you get: the working view and the delivery report.
Who it's for
Micro-entrepreneurs and freelancers in France
You receive invoices from business suppliers and will issue your own from 2027. You want a simple, ideally free setup without spending a day on it.
Tradespeople, shops and small companies
Supplier invoices every week, a till or invoicing tool already in place, and no time to compare dozens of platforms.
Foreign founders with a French entity
A French SAS, SARL or micro-enterprise run from abroad, where the reform's French-only documentation is the main obstacle. We work in English.
Accountants and entrepreneur networks
Several clients or members to bring into compliance the same way, tracked per SIREN, on the Firm plan.

Compared with the alternatives
- Doing it yourself
- Free: the tax administration publishes the official list of approved platforms and several offer free receiving. Allow a few hours to compare, register, check the directory and update your invoices, in French.
- Your bank or current software
- Many online banks and invoicing tools now include an e-invoicing plan. Often the right choice, and we will tell you if it is yours; registration, the directory entry and the invoice template still need checking.
- Your accountant
- The right person if the firm already offers the setup. Many bill it by the hour or keep it for full-service clients; Facture Prête is a fixed price and can also work for the firm.

Questions
I am a micro-entrepreneur under the VAT franchise. Does this apply to me?
Yes. Since 1 September 2026 you must be able to receive e-invoices, and from 1 September 2027 you must issue e-invoices to business customers. The VAT franchise does not exempt you from the reform.
Do I have to pay for an approved platform?
Not necessarily. Several platforms offer free receiving, often with a volume cap. We recommend a free plan when it covers your needs, and we take no commission on your choice.
Are you an approved platform?
No. Facture Prête is an independent setup service: we help you choose an approved platform, register and check everything. Your invoices travel through the platform you chose, never through us.
What about invoices to consumers or customers abroad?
They are not e-invoiced but covered by e-reporting: from 2027 the platform sends certain data to the administration. We check your plan covers it and explain what will be reported.
Do you need my passwords?
No. We work over screen share while you log in, or with an access you create for us and remove afterwards. We never ask for banking or tax-account credentials.
How long does it take?
The recommendation arrives within one business day and most setups are finished within 48 hours, test included. Expect about 30 minutes of your own time in total.
Is this tax advice?
No. Facture Prête is a technical setup service. For a tax question specific to your situation, your accountant or your local business tax office has the final word.
